The fourth edition of the Symposium on the Acoustics of Poro-Elastic Materials will be held in Stockholm (Sweden), during the 16th, 17th and 18th of December 2014.
Advances in computer power, numerical algorithms and signal processing techniques pave the way for advanced theoretical and numerical methods for acoustic porous media modelling etc. Noise control applications or to predict sound propagation in highly heterogeneous porous materials is on the agenda.
