Thermal performance and acoustic comfort was in the spotlight as 6NERGY+, an innovative net zero energy building in Toulouse (France) was rewarded with the Green Building Solution Awards 2014, organized by Construction21, the European platform for green building practitioners. Out of 67 buildings and 120 innovative solutions taking part the public elected “6NERGY+”.
“6NERGY+” is a TABS building (Thermally Active Building System), and the head office of Gamba Group, an acoustic engineering firm located in Toulouse France. Among others, this building is known for being one of the first net zero energy buildings in France. In this project, both the commissioner, the architect and the several supplying partners decided to do their utmost to support the end-user’s well being, health and comfort, which in the end led to the award.
Do you want to know more about how to solve acoustic within building that use thermal mass to regulate the thermal comfort ?
