Polish Ministry of Economy and the World Green Building Council joined the conferencewhere the White Paper about “Health and Productivity in Sustainable Buildings.”launches
The connection between the office indoor environment quality and productivity is the topic of white paper which has been prepared and newly launched by BuroHappold Engineering (engineering consultants), along with Skanska, Colliers, Philips Lighting, Halton and Ecophon. Acoustics plays an important role in the report.
For example; speech propagation in open plan and speech intelligibility in conference rooms were issues outlined in the report “Health and Productivity in Sustainable Buildings” which aims to encourage companies to conduct observations and measurements on how the indoor environment affects their employees.
During the launch event Magda Szubert, Concept Developer for Offices in Poland explained that acoustics affect people on many levels and that quality of office acoustics differ also in so called green office buildings.
